Drugstore Makeup Under $10 // Fall 2018
FALL IS HERE! No, I don’t care that it still gets into the low 90s here, IT IS FALL. My favorite season is officially in full swing and I could not be happier! I’ve already made a fall prep post, but this is the start of my official Fall 2018 series! I decided to start with a good old-fashioned drugstore makeup post all with products under $10!

First up, I’ve been using the Clean n’ Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub as an occasional scrub while I’m in the shower. I used to be a huge Clean n’ Clear fan in high school. I haven’t used their stuff in years, but their reformulated products are the bomb. This scrub has an amazing cooling feeling which helps me feel even more clean after exfoliating. For only $5, I gotta say this little guy packs a punch!
As far as moisturizers go, I like to have a thicker cream on my face to compensate for the drying air that comes with the changing seasons. One of the best that I found on Influenster is the Garnier Moisture Rescue Cream for Dry Skin. This stuff smells great and is at a fair price point! It makes my skin feel amazing.
Once my skin is primed and prepped, I like to move to foundation that has a fuller coverage as opposed to tinted moisturizer. Now that my face won’t be melting off in the sweltering heat, I can go with a thicker formula. One of the best under $10 is the Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation. Now, right off the bat, “full coverage” is a charitable term. It’s more of a medium coverage BUT you can build up to full coverage and it doesn’t feel icky and gross like other foundations.
As far as concealer, I’ve been using my trust Maybelline Superstay Concealer, but I decided to switch things up for the changing seasons. Makeup Revolution’s Conceal & Define in the shade 0.5 is such a perfect full coverage concealer, definitely a dupe for the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer!
I have incredibly dry skin and I don’t get oily throughout the day. So, for setting powder, I stick with e.l.f. Transluscent Mattifying Powder because it’s so cheap but it gets the job done!
As far as eyeshadow palettes go, I was very torn, but my Makeup Revolution Chocolate Vice palette is a great fall palette! It’s a good mix of both warm and cool colors, perfect for me!
Of course, you guys KNOW I can’t go without brows! My favorite drugstore pencil for fall has got to be my Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Retractable pencil in the shade “Ash Brown”. Now that my red hair has faded substantially my BH Cosmetics brow pencil is too red. This pencil is perfect for matching my brows to my natural hair!
So Physician’s Formula makes some of the best bronzer in the drugstore market, and while their Butter Bronzer is not under $10, they do have an Airbrushing Bronzer that IS under $10, and it gives a nice cool color that is not muddy. It’s outstanding and I love it!
My favorite fall highlighter has to be my Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow. It gives my cheekbones that perfect glow that’s not too harsh.
As far as mascara, I go to my trusty Maybelline Lash Sensational. I absolutely love this mascara and it’s my new holy grail. You can read my full review of this mascara here.
I go back and forth with lashes. I try to create looks (even smokey eyes) that don’t require lashes, but I do enjoy wearing lashes from time to time. My all-time favorites are the Ardell Natural Demi Wispies. They feel so soft and natural and not so jarring on my eyes. Sometimes I forget I’m wearing them!
Last but not least, setting spray. Maybelline’s Wear Boosting Master Fix is a great spray that doesn’t make my face feel sticky in the dry air.
