L’Ange Ondule Curling Wand Review

February 1, 2019lifewithcattitude

Happy Friday guys! I have had SUCH a wonderful day off from work, and I can’t wait to show you everything I did in a recap post! Today I finally really tried my new curling wand that I bought last week after being influenced by several peeps on IG. It was on a crazy sale, so I literally couldn’t pass it up! I have had such a hard time with curling my hair… well, pretty much my whole life. I look like I have thick hair, but it’s fine hair, and I just have a lot of it. It has no body and doesn’t hold any shape! This was my first real hair tool purchase that didn’t come from the drugstore so I was nervous!

The product was pretty cute! I had a choice of black or white and for the first time in my life, I chose something white. It came in the mail after about a week, maybe a week and a half. It comes with a protecting glove, which I don’t use. I hate that the fabric makes my hair even frizzier and more difficult to grab. I’ll take the occasional finger burn over wearing the glove.

So today, I decided to give the curler a real try! I had already tried it once, but I immediately went to bed and slept out all the curls. So I took a shower and blow-dried my hair with my normal cocktail of products: wavy mousse, my smoothing gel, and dry shampoo.

The wand itself takes about 30 seconds to heat up, and it took about 20 minutes total to curl all of my hair. Yes, I did burn myself a few times but again… I really don’t like that glove!

This was my hair once I finished and brushed out the curls:

I took this picture because I just KNEW that my hair was going to fall flat. It always has. No matter how much work I put in, my hair never stays. Well, this was my hair ten hours later, just before bedtime:

Keep in mind, this included laying in bed some. The back curls had fallen just a bit, but that’s usually the heaviest section of hair so I wasn’t too mad about that. But those front curls were still holding strong! As I’m writing this blog post the following morning, the curls have mostly been slept out. But, I can still see some waves!

My Overall Verdict

This curling wand was 100% worth the money. Every single penny. I am so incredibly happy that I bought this, and now I want everyone else to be able to achieve those beautiful curls themselves! It seems like a steep price but I promise, the quality makes up for it! If you do get it, shoot me a shoutout on IG!

I’m really impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your
blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself?
Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to
see a nice blog like this one these days.
