Let’s face it: we’ve all had times in our lives where we feel like nothing we do gets us ahead. I have my days where I feel like I’m going through the motions, but whenever I need a reset, I put myself into a new routine to make things better!
- Put your phone/alarm across the room so you have to get up to turn it off (instead of snoozing ten times)
- Make your bed
- Wash and moisturize your face
- Drink lemon water (hot or cold) to jumpstart your metabolism
- Eat a good breakfast or breakfast replacement shake
- Drink coffee/tea thoughtfully and read something uplifting and motivating
- Listen to an inspiring/motivating podcast while getting ready
- Wear the outfit that makes you feel B O M B
- Give yourself plenty of time for your commute so you’re not driving like a maniac
- If you work a desk job, take ten minutes every hour to move around
- Eat a piece of fruit for a snack
- If in school, do your reading/homework as soon as you can
- Take a brisk 20-30 minute walk when you get home to get your creative and productive juices flowing
- Unwind with a glass of wine (I do not condone irresponsible/illegal drinking, this is mainly geared towards my viewers 21+)
- Cook a healthy dinner (meat and veggies if you eat meat, something plant-based if you’re vegetarian or vegan)
- Lay out your clothes for tomorrow so you’re not scrambling in the morning
- Drink a cup of chamomile tea to relax your mind and muscles
- Set an alarm to put your phone away 30 minutes to an hour before bed
- Read a chapter (or even just a few pages) of a book
- Listen to nature sounds or white noise to fall asleep peacefully
I hope these all help you to have a much better day tomorrow! These certainly help me! Leave a comment if you do anything else that makes your day better!

I loved all of your suggestions. I love starting my day with a coffee. I love reading motivational books and sometimes pouring myself a glass of wine. And walking always helps. Great ideas! Even reading about them makes me feel better! 💗

I always feel better when I read lists like that too! It’s amazing how quickly you can turn things around!
